來介紹一下小寶這期的老師給大家認識

LaCari is an assistant master teacher, 是 Raindrop 的主要負責人


Tenisha is the primary caregiver in the morning


Hayley is the primary caregiver in the afternoon


Anna is the Caregiver


Hannah is an assistant care

把照片放完後發現小寶的穿的都是同一件衣服 (除了跟Anna的合照不一樣外, 不過也是黃色)
不過以上的照片都是在不同一天照的喔! 真的是好湊巧

第十周: 8/3 - 8/5

8/3 -- "Anna stacked 3 stacking cups on top of each other and when Candice saw them, she scooted over and knocked them over"
8/4 morning -- "Candice was very upset when it was time to nap. Once her teacher walked away from the crib, Candice settled herself and went to sleep"

老師跟我說今天早上小寶不想睡覺，把他放到床上去哭得有夠兇的
怎麼哄都沒用，最後老師只好走開，不想到老師一走開，小寶哭沒兩下就自己睡覺去
老師很驚訝，沒想到不理小寶他反而會乖乖睡，老師的表情就一副早知道就不哄了
看得我覺得好好笑喔!! 他們一定很後悔之前幹麻花那麼多精力哄他，把自己累得半死

8/4 afternoon -- "Candice was playing the floor piano and when it made music, she bounced back and fourth on her hands & knees to the music"

快11點的時候老師打電話來說小寶還在睡，要我晚點在進去餵奶
本來還在偷偷高興說小寶這麼乖啊，喝奶時間快到了還在睡
一到 Day care 就喜孜孜的問老師說小寶今天有睡到一小時對不對
結果老師一臉不好意思的說因為今天有防火演習 (fire drill)
他們必須把小寶挖起來，所以小寶只睡 30分鐘左右
聽了我傻眼，育嬰中心做什麼防火演習啊!!
我知是為了安全起見，可是 Raindrop 的 baby 只有3 到 6 個月大
都還不會走怎麼做防火演習啊!! 我看是老師們要帶(抱)著他們跑比較累吧!!
很好奇一堆小小孩在停車場的情形喔!!
若早知道他們有防火演習的話應該來停車場瞧一瞧的，應該挺壯觀的

8/5 -- "Candice explored with paint this morning. She would use her left hand to spread the paint around and held the paper with her right hand"



今天去接小寶的時候，LaCari 就一臉興奮的告訴我說小寶會畫畫
聽得我一臉茫然的，想說 六個半月的寶寶畫什麼圖啊~
結果老師就拿著數位相機說我show給你看
果然是鬼畫圖~呵呵

第九周: 7/27 - 7/29

7/27 -- "Candice was working very hard on scooting forward this morning. She scooted over to the bucket of blocks and pulled them down from the shelf"
呵呵~這小子開始有破壞力囉!!
7/28 morning -- "Candice played with the piano this morning - She pushed the keys and smiled when the music played"
小寶今天下午不知道為什麼很 fussy，拒絕吃副食品
所以老師只好打電話給我，看我能不能提早去餵奶
小寶一看到我出現在教室馬上就要我抱
我試著先餵他副食品，想不到他一下子就咕嚕嚕的吃光了
被老師笑說你是不是想媽媽，所以用這個方法叫媽媽來啊!!
7/28 afternoon -- "Candice got up on her hand & knees while playing with the rattle on floor. She would rock back and forth"

看小寶把手跟膝蓋伸直，然後屁股一前一後的一直搖真的很可愛
害我冷不住的偷打他幾下屁股
7/29 -- "Candice heard another child crying on Raindrop, she suddenly turned her head in the directio of the child crying"

趴趴走

7/21 morning -- "Candice played on the floor on her tummy with toys all around her. She scooted her body in circles to play with all the toys"
小寶現在會趴趴走，雖然不是標準的爬行姿勢
不過已經足夠讓他去玩不同的玩具囉!!
7/21 afternoon -- "Candice wasn't guite sure what the chew toy was when her teacher placed it in front of her. She glanced at it for a while and then grabbed it to place in her mouth"
下午進去餵奶時，看小寶掛著兩行淚水被老師抱在手上，一看到我還啜泣
老師跟我說因為小寶很累，想睡覺，所以很番，可是想說餵奶的時間要到了
不想讓我來的時候小寶在睡覺，還要等，所以就讓小寶撐著
打算我餵完後再讓他睡，不過我看小寶這樣好心疼
跟老師講說如果下次他累了就讓他睡，他們可以打電話給我
我就晚點進來，等小寶睡醒在餵他就可以了
小寶真的是累了，我離開沒多久小寶就睡了
從 3:40 睡到 5:10分 (從來沒睡這麼長過)
老師說小寶累及了就不會跟他們戰鬥
一放到床上馬上就趴下睡覺，完全不哭也不鬧
呵呵~可能小寶從來沒這麼累過
所以迫不及待的去補眠了
7/22 -- "Candice was laying on the floor by her teacher. When her teacher got up, Candice scooted towards her and tried to follow her"
想不到小寶的爬功進步到可以去追人了
不過老師寫 "tried"，我想應該是意味著沒追上

自由囉~6M5D

小寶從今天開始解脫了，不用在被包著睡覺
因為媽媽在她的 Daily Highlight Sheet 上寫說可以不用包小寶囉!
照理說寶寶幾個月大後應該可以不用被包起來睡
可是小寶在學校小睡的時候都還是會被包起來，只露兩隻手在外面
雖然說是我跟老師說要包，可是包的方式跟我原本想的可不一樣
UWM Day care 規定寶寶睡的床不能放任何東西，包括棉被在內
所以如果你要寶寶蓋棉被的話，棉被必須大到可以塞進床的三個腳才行
基本上 Day care 裡面的每個寶寶都沒有蓋棉被，頂多用包巾包起來而已
可是因為 Day care 裡有開冷氣，我怕小寶會冷到
所以去買了一條有魔鬼氈的包巾，希望老師們用她來包小寶的肚子
(美國找不到圍寶寶肚子的肚兜，所以我把包巾當肚兜用)
可是我猜老師可能不了解只圍肚子的用意，還是把小寶包起來
害我看了快暈倒，因為小寶在家不包起來睡很久了
虧小寶第一天上學時我還特地秀給他們看，就是怕他們不知道怎麼圍

小寶在Day care裡一直睡得不好, 本來老師還有試著要用Day care的包巾把小寶包起來睡 (媽媽把小寶的專用包巾帶回家囉), 可是小寶不願意, 所以老師就作罷, 沒有強迫小寶
再加上小寶今天乖乖的睡了一個半小時, 所以老師決定以後都不包他囉!

五個半月大還被包成這樣，很好笑吧! 而小寶也很厲害，被包成這樣還可以自己翻成趴睡

ps: Day care 不准老師把寶寶放成趴睡的姿勢，除非是寶寶們自己翻過去，要不然只能仰睡

小寶今天在學校小睡了40分鐘
恩...小有進步

好景不常

唉! 小寶在學校的 nap time 只維持一天的好習慣
今天又恢復只睡30分鐘的睡眠了
真不知道她什麼時候才會睡得跟在家一樣好

終於又睡覺了

小寶上禮拜沒有乖乖睡覺
今天終於又乖乖睡超過一個小時(1hr 25 min)
好棒喔! 希望明天小寶也會乖乖睡覺

"When Candice was placed into her crib, she soothed herself by grabbing at the the NUK (she put it in her mouth) and rested her head."
好驚訝喔~ 小寶竟然會自己把奶嘴放到嘴巴裡去，真是厲害

第六周: 7/6 - 7/8

7/6 -- "Candice was laying on her back and she turned her head to look at Donovan. Then she rolled on to her tummy and reached out to touch Donovan's hand"
小寶你怎麼去偷摸 Donovan，然怪老師說 You love him

7/7 -- "Candice watched Jack crawl around the room. She flipped onto her tummy so she could keep watching him"
小寶你是不是很羨慕 Jack 可以趴趴走啊!!
別急喔~~改天你也可以跟他一樣喔!!
7/8 -- "Candice watched her teacher shake a rattle and when her teacher gave Candice the rattle, Candice shook it and smiled"

小寶今天又被老師寫說 "rested in crib"
睡覺時間到了又沒有乖乖睡，真該打他屁股

第五周: 6/29 - 7/1

6/29 -- "Candice and Amalia were havin tummy time facing each otehr. When Amalia reached out and touched Candice's hand, Candice smiled and kicked her feet"

6/30 morning -- "Candice rolled her body towards Jack and tried to grab his shorts"

6/30 afternoon -- "Candice was on the floor with her teacher, she would "coo" and place the rattle into her mouth"

7/1 -- "Candice had floor time with Donovan, she twisted her body in the boppy. Shen then looked upside down at him and smiled"

禮拜四的時候老師很興奮的跟我說 Candice must love Donovan
因為他們把小寶放在 boppy上
小寶把她的身體整各往後仰，就為了去看 Donova
老師還很興奮的表演給我看
看老師那麼興奮，實在不好意思潑他們冷水
不過我真的覺得老師他們想太多了

第四周: 進步囉

6/22 -- "Candice helped Tanisha write highlights when her teacher tried to give Candice a toy. Candice looked at the toy and then tried to grab the highlight notebook again"

6/23 morning -- "Candice giggled as Tanisha talked to her. She smiled and touched Tanisha's face gently"

6/23 afternoon -- "When Candice saw the rattle close by her head, she looked at it for a while and then rolled to the left side to grab it"

6/24 -- "Candice played on the floor. She tried to roll over and saw Amalia on the floor. Candice rolled to her side and touched Amalia. The two talked and laughed with each other"

小寶的小睡終於有進步啦，有睡超過 20 分鐘的紀錄啦 !! <(￣︶￣)>
星期三下午小寶乖乖地睡了一個小時又 10 分鐘 (這中間都沒有醒過來喔!)
老師高興地在 Daily Highlight Sheet 上寫 "WOW"，好好笑喔!
星期四小寶也有睡到 45 分鐘
雖然距離在家一個半小時的時間還有一段距離
不過總算是有點小進步了

第三周: 6/15 - 6/17

6/15 -- "Candice truned her body all the way to her right side, trying to get to the shelf behind her"

6/16 -- "Candice stuck her tongue out at her teacher when the spoon was almost to her mouth"

6/17 -- "Candice played in the bouncy seat. She laughed and kicked her feet at the toys."
小寶這個禮拜還是睡得不好, 每次都只睡 20分左右
只有星期三下午睡了一個小時又 15分，不過這中間醒來兩次
所以平均下來還是只睡 20分左右
老師是覺得小寶小有進步，媽媽準備的CD幫了不少忙喔!

Napping

Candice started to "coo" at her teacher while she got a diaper change

小寶今天在學校小睡了兩次，一次15分鐘
第二次又是累到不行在老師手上睡著
睡了20分，一放到小床又醒了
唉~然怪老師會傷腦筋
在小寶需要學習的課程表上寫 "napping"

番番的一天

"When Candice was sitting in the bouncy seat, she reached out to touch the hanging toy sand she smiled when she banged two rattles together."
小寶今天下午在學校好像還挺番的
下午的副食品也不願意乖乖吃
老師三點多打電話給我，跟我說小寶很 fussy
他們必須一直抱著她才不哭
They also told me that she may have ear infection becuase she keeps pulling her ear
老師問我說可以做些什麼安撫她，並建議我帶小寶去看醫生
確定沒有 ear infection
我被老師嚇得說我馬上過去(呵呵~在附近上班的好處)
一到學校，小寶一看到我馬上要我抱
而我抱她的時候也都乖乖的，沒有唉唉叫
看一下小寶的紀錄單，哈~一整天下來只睡一個小時
然怪很番，若是在家裡，小寶可以睡到三個半小時
我看小寶應該是想睡覺的番，不過小寶的右耳真的被抓到裂開
為了安全起見，還是叫老公打電話去跟醫生約 appointme

又不睡覺

呵呵~小寶今天又沒睡覺了，老師在記錄單上又寫
"No nap, rested!"
好不容易在老師手上睡著了 (累癱了)
老師一把她放到她的小床又馬上驚醒
讓老師傷透腦筋

不睡覺

"Candice was on the floor with LaCari. She laid on her tummy for about 10 minutes, reaching up towards the soft rattle."
一個禮拜過去了，基本上小寶還挺適應學校生活的
媽媽離開都不會哭，然怪人家說越小送去適應的越快
目前唯一的問題是睡覺
小寶在家都趴睡，可是 Day care不准把baby放著趴睡
除非baby會自己翻 (問題是這麼小怎麼可能自己翻)
所以小寶在學校不像在家裡可以睡超過一個小時
最多就是 30 分鐘，今天的紀錄老師還寫說
"No nap, rested in crib"
真慘，不知道怎樣才可以讓小寶乖乖睡

第二天上學

今天是小寶第一次在學校待一天，從早上8點待到下午5點
Morning Experience:
"Candice did really good with tummy time today,
she kicked her feet and tried really hard to reach the toys that were around her.
She did lots of stretching. Good job "

Afternoon Experience:
"Candice saw Ella from across the room, she smiled at Ella and then turned her head the opposite way "

看來小寶還蠻 enjoy 學校生活的

四個半月 - 上學去

小寶今天開始上學囉!
因為媽媽工作的關係小寶每個禮拜二、三、四要到 Day care 去
二、四半天，禮拜三全天
今天是小寶第一天上學
老公跟我一起送小寶去上學
本來應該是我自己送小寶去學校的
可是第一天有好多東西要帶 (ex: 尿布，換洗衣服，奶瓶等等...)
我不想自己一個人大包小包的
再加上老公又沒去過小寶的教室，也沒看過他老師
與其讓老公之後追問小寶上學的情形到不如讓他去了解一下
所以就凹老公跟我一起送小寶去學校囉!
今天小寶還蠻乖的
本來開始有點會認生，不熟悉的人抱會哭，需要一點時間適應
沒想到今天老師一抱過去他竟然沒哭
只是把眼睛睜著大大的看著
我跟老公要離該時跟他說掰掰也沒什麼反應
看來小寶有沒有我們都沒差，倒是我這個媽有點捨不得
中午去接小寶時老師說小寶一切ok，就是小睡時間沒什麼睡
剛開始餵奶時的表晴像在說你是誰啊! 不過沒多久就喝起來了
老師給的 morning experience是:
"Candice sang songs with her teacher, she smiled as her teacher sang songs to her"
看來小寶在學校有得喝有得玩，還挺快樂的嘛!
